Marketplace module shipped on a new modular platform

Bizowl moved to a modular platform with a marketplace module and its existing data carried over.

Context

Bizowl is building a Startup OS for India: one platform that brings together the services, people and resources founders need to start, run and grow a business. Its founder, Prashant Sirohi, wanted a product that connects those experiences into one system and can grow with the ecosystem.

Problem

Bizowl's first product, built on React, Node.js and Firebase, had become hard to extend: every new feature added complexity, and the codebase lacked the structure the product's ambitions needed. Users also weren't sure what the platform was for or what to do next.

What we built

Instead of adding more features to the old foundation, we designed a new modular platform around reusable core services, shipped the marketplace module on it with a clearer purpose, redesigned navigation around clarity, and migrated existing client and partner data.

  • Modular architecture

Shared building blocks and reusable core services, on a stack chosen for long-term maintainability.

  • Marketplace module

Shipped with a clear role in the wider Bizowl ecosystem, so users know what they can do.

  • Experience redesign

Navigation rebuilt so people understand the platform and where to go next.

  • Data migration

Existing client and partner data carried over to the new platform.

  1. Understand the vision
  2. Design a modular foundation
  3. Ship the marketplace
  4. Migrate existing data

Result

Marketplace module live on a new modular platform, with existing client and partner data migrated and a clearer experience for users.

Qualitative: delivery of a module, a data migration and a redesigned experience.

What they said

“Building a marketplace and community platform together is no small task, there are a hundred moving parts. What stood out was how patiently they handled the complexity, without ever losing sight of the end user experience. It genuinely feels like working with a team that's invested in Bizowl's success, not just delivering a project.”
